Warming Station Opens at The Harbor in Dothan


　


For the homeless and those that are unsheltered, The Harbor in downtown Dothan at 320 North Foster (corner of Foster & Burdeshaw), will open their facility as a warming station Saturday night, December 9th. The doors will open for the warming station from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.. No check-in after 9 p.m. Doors re-open Sunday morning as temperatures rise (7 a.m. or 8 a.m.) Cots will be spread out, and a warm place for the night will be available. Snacks, coffee and drinks will also be provided.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED Six volunteers are needed from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. and six volunteers from 1 a.m. until 7 a.m. If you are interested in volunteering, please call The Harbor at 334-790-4031.



BLANKETS ARE NEEDED and can be dropped off today at The Harbor, 320 North Foster Street in Dothan.
