WCCD Student Athletes Hear From Hits for Heroes

What: Hits for Heroes Representatives Present to Govs and Lady Govs
When: Monday, February 12 at 1:30 p.m.
Where: Wheelless Auditorium (Rane Hall)
Hits for Heroes is an event started in 2014 to support and show appreciation for area service men and women. In advance of this Saturday’s opening day, Angela Dunning with Hits for Heroes and a wounded warrior will speak to WCCD student athletes.
Hits for Heroes “Salute to the Troops” is at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 17,at Northcutt Field (Westgate Park) followed by Wallace Community College vs. ESCC in the opening game.
There are over 20 teams participating in this year’s event.
