Wednesday Motorhome and Car Fire In Gordon

GORDON: Late Wednesday afternoon Gordon Volunteer Fire was dispatched by Houston County Sheriff 911 to a vehicle fire at the intersection of Tifton Street and Highway 95 in Gordon.
On the arrival there was a motorhome and a vehicle well involved in fire.
Responding to assist Gordon Fire was Lucy Volunteer Fire and Ashford Fire Chief Jimmy Posey.
The two vehicles were a total loss, but were well involved when the fire department was even called to the scene.
Both Gordon and Lucy Fire did a great job. Gordon Fire Chief Justin McCallister was the on scene commander and did a great job.
Gordon Police were on the scene. The area was taped off and Captain Bill Rafferty with Houston County Sheriff Department responded to investigate the cause of the fire.
Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management responded and was on the scene.
