Ruth Nelson was able to get the required 100 signatures of registered voters to seek election as Mayor of the City of Dothan.

The only REAL candidate is Mark Saliba.

Who is Ruth Nelson?

Ruth Nelson is a self-proclaimed activist who owns a house on South St. Andrews Street.

She resides however at her home in Atlanta where she lives most if the time, except for when she needs to stay overnight so she can continue her bullying in Dothan the next day.

Ruth claims to be in the construction business but the only thing she has ever constructed were walls attempting to create a racial divide to further her own interest. She got mad at city hall for not giving her the old Saint’s Apartments and the old Howell School so she could turn around and sell it to pocket the money.

She posted several articles for a blogger in Henry County for a short period but when her comments became so vile and contentious, he fired her.

She also had a falling out with the NAACP for her inflammatory and disgusting remarks about public officials and their families.

Most reasonable people respect healthy dialogue, but lies and fabrications, not so much.

Ruth is widely known for her “Ruth Rants”.

She can argue with a shovel propped in the corner, and probably often does for practice. No one is safe when Ruth’s on a rant.

The Planning and Zoning Board, City, and County Commission Meetings or anyone else who will listen to her filibuster all run when they see her coming.

She gets so mad sometimes, she starts squalling, but that does not deter any chance she gets to get in front of a microphone. Face time is “good time” for Ruth Nelson.

Her strategy is simple, she out shouts people. If you want to have a debate with her, you had better spray your throat first because you will need to “out-loud” her.

As a matter of fact, the only time she ever kept her mouth shut was when she showed up at the Dothan City Commission Meeting with Duct Tape on her mouth.

That’s right, Duct Tape—the good kind that stayed on the whole hour.

She along with about four others (one being a member of the Dothan City School Board) protested their right to bash the City of Dothan concerning their grievances.

Who is Ruth Nelson?

In my opinion she is an out of town bully who will stop at nothing to get what she wants and stands no chance of being the next mayor of Dothan.

And should she somehow get elected it would be destroy Dothan Alabama.

She will never go away either, so maybe a good ass-whippin’ at the poles will give her some humility though I certainly doubt it.
