Wicksburg High School Pre-K to Begin Taking Applications
Wicksburg High School will open its first Pre-K classroom on August 4, 2017.
Four year olds at Wicksburg High School have a new opportunity to receive quality preparation for Kindergarten thanks to a grant received through the Alabama Department of Children’s Affairs.
Superintendent David Sewell and Principal Cheryl Smith said the school will have 18 available slots. Students will be randomly chosen by a lottery system.
The drawing will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Wicksburg High School Library. The public is invited to attend.
Students must meet the following criteria:
- Registration process online only
- The child must be 4 years old by September 1, 2017.
- The child must reside in the Wicksburg High School district.
Parents must apply online using the site code: 827500
Applications must be received by July 14, 2017.
Registration is available online at www.wicksburgschool.com or www.hcboe.us.
Parents of the students chosen are required to attend a parent orientation on August 3, 2017 @ 9 a.m. at Wicksburg High School.
