Woman Charged with Taking Lottery Tickets

On October 18, 2017, Officers with the Marianna Police Department were dispatched to Winn Dixie in reference to stolen lottery tickets.


An investigation revealed that between September 10, 2017 and October 18, 2017, Stacy Braxton, an Employee at Winn Dixie took 1035 dollars worth of lottery tickets without paying for them.  Braxton would cash in the winning lottery tickets and would not pay for the tickets out of the winnings.   


Braxton was arrested and transported to the Jackson County Correction Facility to await first appearance.  She is being charged with Grand Theft.
