DOTHAN: 8:44 AM. Dothan 911 has dispatched a firearm assault at Montana Street and Chickasaw Street.
On the arrival of Sgt. Weed the actual shooting occurred on Chickasaw Street.
At 8:47 AM Dothan Fire notified local hospital they are transporting trauma alert with two gunshot wounds. One is upper chest and one above navel. Patient is conscious and alert.
Multiple officers are on the scene and in the area. A suspect(s) description has been broadcast.
PARENTS: If you get calls schools are under lockdown it is because the scene is near the school but has nothing to do with the school. But as a safety precaution they have locked down the school.
