DOTHAN - HOUSTON COUNTY: 10:06 PM. DOTHAN - HOUSTON COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT has received the latest weather update and the hurricane conditions have changed.
No gusts expected until daybreak through noon to 2 PM. Our area may not receive any major damage or sustained winds.
The Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management Agency will continue to monitor the situation and immediate notices will be distributed should anything change.
The Dothan Police Department, Dothan Fire Department, Houston County Sheriff Department, Houston County Volunteer Fire Departments, Houston County Volunteer EMS Departments, and Pilcher Ambulance are returning to normal services. Should something change immediate action plans are in place to spring into action.
When it gets here it is not expected to be a "storm" but wind gusts.
The shelters are staying "as is" at this time should there be a sudden change in the weather system.
Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management continues to be "HOUSTON COUNTY STRONG" and on top of the weather system.
