11:01 AM... Structure Fire at the Cottonwood First Baptist Church

HOUSTON COUNTY: Multiple Fire units from Cottonwood and Lovetown responded to a report of a structure fire at the Cottonwood First Baptist Church. The first unit on scene advised light smoke visible. Cottonwood Police responded along with an ambulance from Cottonwood Rescue.
After investigating firefighters were able to locate the source of the smoke to be a short in the wiring with burn spots in the wiring.
Firefighters shut off the power and released all other responding units from the scene.
