1:27 PM. Motor Vehicle Accident At Southern Junction

HOUSTON COUNTY: 1:27 PM. Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched a serious critical motor vehicle accident on Highway 109 near the Alabama - Florida line. Reports are one vehicle verses a tree, possible entrapment.
Houston County Sheriff Major Bill Rafferty was the first unit on the scene. Major Rafferty reports no entrapment and one injury.
Rehobeth Rescue, Southern Junction Volunteer Fire, Hodgesville Fire, Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management, Houston County Sheriff Deputies and Alabama State Troopers responded.
Three people were involved in the accident. One person was transported to SAMC by Rehobeth Rescue. Patient has what appears to be non life threatening injuries.
Alabama State Trooper Jason McAllister is in charge of the investigation.
