2018 12U Wicksburg All Stars Softball Team heads to the World Series

This young group of girls started out as the 2018 12U Wicksburg All Stars Softball Team. 12 Girls chosen from two small teams in a small community with volunteer coaches, a volunteer board and a lot of friends and families to support them.
They recently went head to head with much larger teams in this area to come out as District 6 Champions! Proceeding undefeated to Eufaula, they represented our area in State Playoffs and came out once again as champions! You are now looking at TEAM ALABAMA, the 12U softball team chosen to represent OUR great state of ALABAMA in the WORLD SERIES! This small group of girls was chosen out of a pool of 24 girls in a small community and fought every step of the way to beat out other teams that were chosen from pools of girls with over 100 players! They have made it this far with blood, sweat, tears, and a lot of determination!
But now they need your help! As we move forward to represent our state in the World Series in Alexandria, Louisiana July 27, 2018- August 2, 2018 we are in desperate need of DONATIONS! (Money, food, water, Gatorade) Anything that you or your company may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated and used to benefit these girls as they represent our state in the biggest competition of their lives! Our goal is $15,000 and no donation is too small! Unlike most of the other teams, we are not backed by a large city or recreational funds.
We are a small town relying only on friends, family, and the support of our community. Your donation is tax deductible and the form you need is attached. Please make any checks payable to Wicksburg Dixie Youth and earmarked for Team Alabama! We will be happy to come to you to pick up your donations.
