HOUSTON COUNTY: Multiple Fire units from Cowarts and Ashford responded to a report of a structure fire at 5749 US 84 in Cowarts. The first unit on scene advised smoke visible. Houston County Sheriff’s Office responded along with an ambulance.
UPDATED:
At 3:06 PM Houston County Sheriff Dept. Dispatched a structure fire at 5749 U.S. Hwy. 84 East. It was a shed behind a residence, smoke and flames visible.
Responding to the scene Cowarts Fire Department, Ashford Fire Department, Pilcher's Ambulance Service, Houston County Sheriff Department, and Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management.
The fire was a older wooden storage building.
