HOUSTON COUNTY: Taylor Fire and Pilcher's responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Brannon Stand just South of Fortner. One person was transported by ambulance to the hospital. Houston County Sheriff’s Office also responded. The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
Traffic is backed up a half a mile in either direction.
