HODGESVILLE: 7:49 AM. A Cottonwood Volunteer Fireman came up on a Structure Fire on Cecil Varnum Road off Hooper Cherry Road. The structure was fully engulfed in fire when the structure fire was noticed.
Multiple Volunteer Fire units rolled from Hodgesville Volunteer Fire, Lovetown Volunteer Fire, Cottonwood Volunteer Fire, and Madrid Volunteer Fire responded. Also responding Houston County Sheriff Department, Dothan - Houston County Wmergency Management and Pilcher Ambulance.
The homeowners were not home at the time of the Fire.
Wiregrass Electric has been dispatched along with Salvation Army for rehab for the fireman.
