Moderate rainfall will continue tonight across areas that have
already received high rainfall values. Widespread 4 to 8 inches
has already fallen across the Florida panhandle and southeast
Alabama with around 4 inches across parts of southwest Georgia.
Another 1 to 3 inches is expected tonight with isolated higher
amounts possible. A few roads are closed across some of the
Florida panhandle counties and drivers are urged to use caution,
especially at night when it is harder to see water over roadways.
The Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of southeast Alabama, the Florida Panhandle and portion
of southwest Georgia.

Until 7 AM EST /6 AM CST/ Monday

* Storm Total Rainfall: Widespread 4 to 8 inches has already
fallen with isolated areas of 9 inches. Another 1 to 3 inches is
possible overnight with isolated higher amounts.

* Impacts: This has been enough to cause some flooding issues,
mainly in form of dirt road washouts and flooding in poor
drainage and urban areas. In addition, minor to moderate
flooding is possible on a few of the area rivers.

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
