HODGESVILLE:   9:02 PM.    Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched fire units to Eddins and Iris Road t a structure fire.


When Hodgesville UNPAID PROFESSIONAL FIREMAN arrived the residence was engulfed in flames. A defensive mode was established by Hodgesville Command.


A defensive mode is there are no reasons to risk the life and safety of fireman in order to save the residence which is to far gone on the arrival of the fire units.


Hodgesville Assistant Fire Chief Jack Woods is in charge of the scene.


Houston County Sheriff Deputies are investigating the fire. Reports are the fire could possibly be arson.
