DALE COUNTY:   9:03 PM.  Dothan 911, Ozark - Dale County 911, and Headland 911 dispatched a motor vehicle accident on Highway 134 and Dale County road 79 intersection. The reports to 911 patient was ejected but was breathing.


Responding to the scene: Headland Police, Dothan Police, Napier Field Police, Dale County Sheriff, Headland Fire - Rescue, Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance.


The Vehicle, a pickup truck, was traveling south on Dale County Road 79 approaching Highway 134. The vehicle traveled off Dale County Road 79 on the right side. The vehicle struck a fire hydrant and appeared to have overturned. The patient was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected.


UNCONFIRMED from authorities but the accident might possibly have been the result of a domestic argument.


This intersection could possibly be in the city limits of Dothan. Dothan Police Lt. Collins has instructed Dothan Officers to respond to the hospital and scene to determine.


Headland Rescue and Dothan Fire transported to SAMC. Pilcher Ambulance was cancelled because Headland Rescue was already on the scene.


Napier Field Police are calling Napier Field Water Department to repair the fire hydrant. This location is a head scratcher: accident in Dale County, but could be in Dothan City Limits, with Napier Field water, but near Headland for emergency services are near.


At 8:15 PM Dothan Police Lt. Collins just requested Alabama State Troopers to respond to the scene. Apparently the decision has been made the intersection is not in the city limits of Dothan.


The most important ingredient - the patient had prompt emergency medical care of the best quality with all


emergencybresponders.


Dothan Fire has reported hospital change to Flowers Hospital rather than SAMC.
