Another heavy rainfall event is forecast for this weekend. Rain will begin from west to east Saturday with the bulk of the heavy rainfall expected Saturday night into Sunday morning. The heaviest rainfall will fall in areas already highly vulnerable to flooding.

Flash flooding is a real possibility, especially in areas that have received recent heavy rainfall. Thunderstorms are possible with the highest chances for strong storms Saturday night along and adjacent to the Gulf coast.

Expect some rises on smaller rivers and creeks but little additional impacts on the main stem rivers.
