The April Marie Walding Memorial Fund is an effort to raise money for an area of the children’s library to be named after April. 


April had a rare genetic condition, which created limitations for her. April loved books and going to the library was her favorite outing. Library books and videos enhanced her life greatly.


The hope is that more children with disabilities will be encouraged to visit the library and take advantage of what the library provides.
