Ariton Dollar General Robbery

On November 3rd at approximately 9:15PM Deputies responded to an armed robbery at the Dollar General in Ariton. The employees stated that a black male entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded cash. The suspect was described as a black male wearing blue jeans and a dark colored jacket and black mask. We do have a person of interest at this time but we are still asking for the public to contact us if they have any information related to this case. There is a cash reward being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible.
