Arrest Made for Shooting on East Selma St

On 9/2/2017, Patrol Division responded to the 800 block of East Selma on a firearm assault call. The victim of the assault had been shot once in the thigh and was transported for treatment.
The suspect was identified quickly and a BOLO was issued, leading to the apprehension of Mandrell Rashawn Baxter. Baxter was charged with Assault 2nd and his bond was placed at $15,000.00.
