Bake Sale Fundraiser to benefit the April Walding Memorial at the Dothan Library.


The purpose of the April Walding Memorial is to raise funds to name the children’s reading tower after April. April passed away in 2016 from complications due to a rare genetic condition. She loved books. Visiting the Library was April’s favorite outing. Our goal, along with creating a lasting legacy for April, is to encourage other children with disabilities in our community to visit the Library. There would be no greater tribute to April’s memory than for other children to develop the same love for books that April enjoyed.


Everyone is invited to help support this worthy cause. Come join us on Friday, November 17 from 8:00-1:00 t the downtown location of the Dothan Library. We will have lots of goodies for sale just in time for Thanksgiving.
