BONIFAY MAN CHARGED WITH METHAMPHETAMINE POSSESSION

BONIFAY:  A Bonifay man was arrested following a traffic stop Wednesday, August 8. A deputy with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office stopped a truck in the area of Banfill Road and Highway 90 and made contact with its occupants.


During a subsequent search of the passenger, identified as Anthony L. Manning, 36, of Bonifay, the deputy discovered Manning to be in possession of a bag containing methamphetamine and of drug paraphernalia, including a glass smoking pipe and a syringe.


Manning was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, resisting an officer without violence, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
