DOTHAN:     For months I have had the opportunity to watch as the Clark Family has worked on " The Plant", transforming a vacant Coca-Cola Plant into a spectacular event venue in Downtown Dothan.

On Sunday December 10th "The Plant" will kick off the first event wit David Ramirez in concert. Opened by Molly Parden.

Gates open at 2 PM and music begins at 4 PM. Kids 14 and under get in free.

Watching the venue change but keeping the original theme has been interesting. Alan and Boyd Clark, well Boyd!!! has worked hard. He knows how to use a shovel and hammer. They all have worked hard restoring the venue that has sit vacant for more than a decade in downtown Dothan.

The Plant is formally the Coca Cola Plant. Back when the Coca- Colas were bottled in Dothan. A number of years ago the plant ceased operation and the product was no longer manufactured locally. They are shipped in.

Alan Clark loves the history of Dothan - Houston County. And he loves the restoration of the original history. So Alan, Boyd and Devers and their family decided to purchase this property and make it into an entertainment venue for the people of Dothan - Houston County and the wiregrass area.
