DOTHAN: Dothan 911 Center dispatched a motor vehicle accident in the 2200 block of Ross Clark Circle. Dothan Police Corporal Cade Wells was the first officer on the scene.
The accident involved two vehicles. Some Administrators from Southeast Alabama Medical Center were behind the vehicles when they wrecked. The Administrators jumped out and checked the victims.
When Corporal Wells arrived on the scene he found a couple of injuries. In one particular vehicle the grandmother was very upset and possibly having a seizure. The grandchild was upset that her grandmother and mother were in the accident.
Dothan Police Corporal Cade Wells took the little girl in his arms and kept her comforted as her mother and grandmother were checked and treated by Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance.
Also thanks to the SAMC Administrators who took the time to stop, kept all of the people in the wreck calm and comforted until Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance arrived on the scene.
Corporal Wells ended up soaking wet working the accident. But he made sure the little girl was in a vehicle and dry.
THANK YOU to Corporal Wells for your professionalism in the performance of your duties to serve and protect.
