On Saturday, August 11th Blackwell responded to a residence on Shadowlawn Drive in reference to animal services call. Blackwell learned that there were 2 very young kittens stuck inside the engine compartment in a vehicle. The person reporting it stated that they were likely there for several days. Ofc. Blackwell utilized a socket set to remove several bolts in order to remove a plastic panel underneath the vehicle. Once the panel was removed Blackwell was able to free the kittens from the vehicle. The kittens have been re-homed! Great job Adam! www.dothanpolicefoundation.org
