DOTHAN:    Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza announced arrest and seizure of a lot of cash in one of Dothan’s nicer neighborhoods.

Sheriff Valenza said 30 year old David Dewayne Wright of 2303 Creekwood Drive On Dothan was Arrested by Houston County Sheriff Vice Deputies.

Sheriff Valenza announced the seizure of drugs and cash from David Dewayne Wright along with the confiscation of $ 10,000.00 in cash.

Wright was arrested on Thursday. Even though he is alleged to have had $ 10,000.00 in cash money David Dewayne Wright listed having no job and no income. 

At David Dewayne Wright’s first appearance, under oath and penalties of perjury, Wright answered before the Honorable District Court Judge Benjamin Lewis that he had no job or income. 

When David Dewayne Wright’s case makes Circuit Court he will be assigned to Place 1 Circuit Judge. One of the contract attorney’s is Patrick Amazon. Judge Lewis assigned Amason to Wright as his attorney.

David Dewayne Wright posted bail this afternoon. For the Trafficking in Marijuana offense bail was set at $ 150,000.00 and for Unlawful Pissession Of a Controlled Substance Bail was set at $ 10,000.00.

Neighbors who live in Creekwood Subdivision are concerned about the drug dealing in their neighborhood. What concerns them more is the guns in David Dewayne Wright’s possession and the amount of drugs.

Wright’s phone number has a Tampa Florida area code and he has a Florida drivers license.
