Early Morning House Fire Destrpys a Geneva County Home

GENEVA COUNTY: Around 1:00 Am.. Fire units from Fadette, Malvern, Slocomb responded to a report of a structure fire at 7789 South County Road 49 in the Fadette Community. When units arrived on scene the home was fully invovled in fire. No water sourse was closed to the ome so a request was put out for man power and water.
Units from Hartford and Rehobeth responded to the fire to help. Slocomb Rescue also responded along with the units from the Geneva County Sheriff’s Office. Despited the efforts of firefighters the home was a total loss. The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
