FROM DISTRICT 29 ALABAMA SENATOR HARRI ANNE SMITH

The November Elections are getting close...Nov. 6, 2018.....I have loved serving you all so much and it is so emotional not to be running for re election.  I am going to miss the wonderful opportunity you all have given me for 5 terms.  Unbelievable....5 terms...I am so grateful to you all for your love and support but this next month is going to be difficult for me....knowing that my last day of serving you in The Alabama Senate will be Election Day, Nov. 6th.   The newly elected Senator will take office that night.  If I can do anything for any of you between now and them please put me to work....Just wanted to remind you that I am not on the ballot .   God has been good to Charlie and me...Charlie has recovered and I am grateful for that.   Charlie just says now that he is recovered ....I am going to have to find something to do instead of worrying about him...lol   I will continue to be here to help anyone that needs me and I work for free.   lol  I  have such wonderful memories and those memories are what make this so hard.  I am blessed to have made friends with you all and that has been the most treasured thing about having the opportunity to serve you....God Bless you all and know I love and respect each and every one of you .....Harri Anne
