Funeral Services for Ashley Bullard

Ash­ley Bullard, a res­i­dent of Dothan, passed away on Sat­ur­day, Sep­tem­ber 9, 2017 at UAB Hos­pi­tal fol­low­ing a coura­geous bat­tle with cys­tic fi­bro­sis.  She was 30.

Fu­neral ser­vices will be held at 11 am on Wednes­day, Sep­tem­ber 13, 2017 in Sun­set Fu­neral Home Chapel.  The fam­ily will re­ceive friends at the fu­neral home on Wednes­day from 10-11 am.  Bur­ial will fol­low in Sun­set Memo­r­ial Park with Robert Byrd di­rect­ing.

 

Ash­ley was born on Au­gust 18, 1987 in Dothan, Al­abama and lived the early years of her life in the Hodgesville Com­mu­nity.  She at­tended Cot­ton­wood High School where she was a cheer­leader.  Ash­ley loved arts and crafts es­pe­cially col­or­ing big crosses.  Ash­ley also loved the wa­ter, be­ing at the beach and rid­ing the boat at the lake where she en­joyed be­ing the spot­ter for the ones who were tub­ing, and laughed when they fell off.

Ash­ley was pre­ceded in death by her fa­ther, Larry Bullard, her grand­fa­ther, Bob Bullard, her un­cle, Lynn Bullard, her grand­fa­ther, Joe Frank John­son, and her un­cles, Jimmy John­son and Tommy Sim­pler.

Sur­vivors in­clude her fi­ancé, Josh Wood­ham; her mother, Teresa (Marty) Lin­der; her grand moth­ers, JoAnn John­son and Myra York; her brother, Lu­cas Bullard; sev­eral aunts, un­cles, cousins, and a host of friends; and her 2 dogs that loved her very much, they were her ba­bies, Rimi and Tank.
