HODGESVILLE - REHOBETH:  Rehobeth Assistant Fire Chief Nick Floyd is very dedicated to being one of the unpaid professional fireman.


During the day Nick has been known to be the only one on the truck.  Running - stretching out the fire hose and back to the truck charging the line - then back to the hose to fight the vehicle fire.


Nick’s wife, Kim, is in the hospital tonight. They will induce labor in the morning.


Nick was listening to this Hodgesville 🔥 and Kim could see it on his face. Kim said “ Nick... go”. 


Off he went, suited up and helped fight the fire.


Kim... thanks for being a true Unpiad Professional Fireman’s wife.


The dedication of the 🚒 fireman and fire women who donate their time. It is a family affair. They could not do it without the family support.


So while we always Thank the ones fighting the fire... many thanks to the family support system which allows their spouses or parents to help the community.


Nick’s normal foot attire is flip flops. Like Webb Fire Chief Jamar Ivey’s is shorts.


When you see flops - Nick is around.


When you see legs... they are normally Jamar’s 😱😱😱

Lovetown Fire Chief Jimmy Dixon and Fireman Scott Dixon’s mom, ME MAW....she was pumping the fire truck tonight. She is 72 and will whip those boys in shape in a hurry.
