Two years later in December of 2017 Mr Joe passed away

This is a story that I can only tell from My Heart.

To tell the story I Have to tell the complete story as it unfolded so you will truly understand how beautiful this family truly is and the love, the sacrifices and the suffering they have gone through.

This Is About Them Not Me...But What I Got From Them At The End Is Priceless. TEARS Of Joy AND One Of The Best Hugs I Have Ever Received.
( I Discovered That Night That Hugs Put Broken Pieces Back Together )

I Saw A Comment On One Of My Post About Hating Cancer From Sandy Blunt-Roney.

She Had Lost Her Sister And Her Best Friend To Breast Cancer In 2007 And She Wrote About How Hard It Is On Her Family And Especially Her Mom Every Day..Even Years Later The Pain From Their Loss Hasn’t Eased At All.

Sandy said there was never a moment they didnt think of her after she was taken from them by a ruthless enemy called Cancer. Her mom had even harder times handling the loss of her daughter during each Christmas Season.

So Me Wanting To Put A Smile On Their Faces I Asked What Her Mom's Favorite Meal Was And She Said Fried Catfish And Cheese Grits With Slaw. So I Went To Hunts And Picked Her And Her Husband Up 2 Catfish Dinners And Surprised Them With It.

This Is where my heart felt something it's never felt before.

The husband ,Mr. JOE ,who I thought knew why I was there to surprise his wife, broke down in tears as soon as I Told him why I was there and He Hugged Me the First Time.
By the time I left I think I got lots and lots of hugs and I'd take lots more from them even now.

He's a very tall man and I don't recall the last time I was Hugged like He Hugged Me. It Was a Very Wonderful Feeling.

I Think His Hug Filled A Emptiness In Me I Must Have Buried Many Years Ago. My Father Wasnt A Hugger...Mr. Joe’s Hug Helped Heal That Void.

I've Never Been Hugged By A 86 Yr Old Man Weeping On My Shoulder Telling Me No One Has Ever Done Anything Like That For Them Before And Then Mrs. Jewel Teared Up And So Did I.

Just Before I Left We All Just Did One Big Group Hug Together And Wow !! I loved It. What A Wonderful Wonderful Feeling That Was.

There are So Many Unsung Heroes Out There ,Like Mrs. JEWEL and MR. JOE , Who Are Never Recognized For Being Wonderful And Loving Parents...Who Just Want The Best For Their Families And Worked Hard Every Single Day To Make It Happen.

They worked their fingers to the bone, stayed up many nights worrying if their family would be ok, Made sure all was clothed and fed and got a good education. Took care of the children or spouse when they were sick even if they were sick themselves.

And guess what ? They never complained did they?

There Are Many more All Around Us just like this loving family ..Hidden In Some House In Some Neighborhood Not Expecting A Thing From Anyone.

THEY are just rewarded by knowing their children love them and rewarded by the love they have for their children.

I'm 57 and A 86 Year Old Man Hugs Me Tighter Than I've Been Hugged In Years..A Complete Stranger But Yet He's No Stranger Anymore. THEY Found My Heart....

I Love Mrs. JEWEL and Mr. JOE.

My Heart Goes Out To Them For Their Loss .But Wow.... What Love They Have For One Another And For Sandy And Their Son Wendell.

NOW TO EACH OF YOU...IF A SIMPLE CATFISH DINNER CAN BRING TEARS OF JOY TO THEIR EYES JUST IMAGINE WHAT OTHER LITTLE THINGS WE CAN DO TO MAKE MANY JUST LIKE THEM SMILE.
