The Angel Of Hope Statue At Westgate Park was dedicated on November 20th, 2016 And every dime to make that possible came from generous donations. And it takes your donations to KEEP IT UP!!
Keeping the grounds maintained and landscaped, insurance and expenses for the annual candlelight vigil and other events are all Paid for by donations
Simply Said... WITHOUT YOUR HELP THERE WOULD NOT BE A ANGEL OF HOPE STATUE IN DOTHAN.
The angel’s face is that of a child, it’s arms raised, as a child waiting to be lifted. In its wing is inscribed the word HOPE.
The Angel of Hope, an exact replica of the Christmas Box Angel statue located in Salt Lake City, Utah, stands as a symbol of hope for all parents who have experienced the death of a child.
The statue and surrounding area is intended to be a place of peace and healing for all bereaved parents.
Inscribed on back of the statue are these words:
ALL OUR CHILDREN LOVED, MISSED AND REMEMBERED
