ASHFORD: Houston County Sheriff Criminal Investigators arrested Starla Ruth Wiggins Ingram on multiple Theft of Property offenses on Thursday evening.
Ingram is charged with four counts of Theft of Property in the first degree. She was booked into the Houston County Jail under four $ 30,000.00 bonds.
Ingram was a long term employee of Summerford Trucking in Ashford. The case was investigated by Houston County Sheriff Major Bill Rafferty.
From what we understand the thefts occurred over an extended number of years, like 10 year period. According to some allegations we understand some six figures ( high six figures ) was taken over that period.
Because of the statue of limitations Ingram could only be charged with offenses dating back for four years. Her arrest was Thursday at 5:27 PM so no court documents have been filed because today is a holiday. The exact facts are not known at this time.
Ingram made bond and was released from the Houston County Jail at 1:43 AM Friday morning.
