LOVETOWN: This evening members of the Lovetown UNPAID PROFESSIONAL FIRE DEPARTMENT had a Sunday evening cookout for the members and Guests.
It was a social time to enjoy chicken wings, French fries, other foods and desserts.
On Saturday Lovetown Fire had a meeting and a work day. Tonight Chief Jimmy Dixon wanted a relaxing time, time for members to fellowship and talk in a relaxed atmosphere.
On hand were members of Cottonwood Rescue and members of Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management. The membership of Lovetown Fire has welcomed both members of Cottonwood Rescue and Emergency Management to thier department.
In fact Cottonwood Rescue has been made members of Lovetown UNPAID PROFESSIONAL FIRE Department. Cottonwood Rescue, Ashford Rescue and/or Pilcher’s Ambulance responds to a lot of Lovetown response footprint. It is the goal and desire of the EMS staff to be familiar with the fire departments and the fire departments be familiar with the Rescue. So when something happens they are prepared to work in complete unison for the best of the patient or patients.
THANKS to Lovetown Fire for their willingness to open up and accept Cottonwood Rescue and Emergency Management as part of your family.
