Marginal Risk of Severe Storms on Tuesday

An approaching cold front will help to trigger showers and thunderstorms across the region on Tuesday. While widespread severe storms are not expected, a few strong to marginally severe storms are possible, especially across SE Alabama and South Georgia. The Storm Prediction Center has placed this area in a Marginal Risk for severe storms. Similar conditions will be in place again on Wednesday.
What: Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms possible. Primary threat is damaging wind gusts.
When: Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.
Once again, this is not expected to be a widespread event.
