Motor Vehicle Accident Backs up Traffic for a Mile in Georgia

EARLY COUNTY: This morning fire ,EMS and Law Enforcement from Early County responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a log truck and two passenger cars on US 84 just across the state line. Reports are one person was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Traffic was backed up for about a mile in the West Bound Lanes.
Clean up is under way but will take a while to get cleaned up. The log truck was turning going to the paper mill when the truck over turned dumping it's load. Two passenger cars ran into the logs and ended up on top of the dumped load.
No one else was reported injured. The cause of the crash is under investigation by Georgia State Patrol.
