Obituary from Holman Funeral Home and Cremations – Ozark, AL                        



 


Mr. Michael “Mickey” Woodall, a resident of Ozark, died Monday, January 14, 2019, following an extended illness.  He was sixty-four years old.


A memorial service for Mr. Woodall will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 18, 2019, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with his son, Reverend Christopher Woodall and Reverend Merrill Henry officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Friday from 9:00 A.M. until service time.


Mr. Woodall was born April 20, 1954 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late John Junior Woodall and Ella Mae McDonald Woodall. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid Alabama fan.   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Susan Kelly and Ann Woodall; two brothers, John Woodall and Donald Woodall.


Survivors include his wife, Barbara Wilson Woodall; two sons, Reverend Christopher Woodall (Stacy) and Michael P. Woodall (Sandy); six grandchildren, Robert Woodall, Adrian Woodall, Judy Beth Woodall, Carter Woodall, Alison Melanson, Shady Deal (Haston); one great granddaughter, Emma Rose Deal; two sisters-in-law, Paula Kennington (Ray) and Sally Woodall; two  nieces, Katie McIntyre (Tavares) and Kimberly Noe; two nephews, Jeremy Newton (Jenna) and Jason Noe.  Several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends also survive.


Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Pinckard Baptist Church, P. O. Box 188, Pinckard, Alabama 36371; or to Camp Ground Baptist Church 3898 East Andrews Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
