HOUSTON COUNTY:    When Rehobeth has a fire or EMS call, Nick is there.

When there is a major fire in Houston County and manpower is short, Nick is there.

When you need something done, Nick is there.

The Houston County Volunteer Fire Chief Association recognized Rehobeth Assistant Fire Chief Nick Floyd as Houston County Volunteer Fireman of 2018.

There was a Fire in Hodgesville. Nick’s wife was scheduled for a C Section the next morning. The Fire was intensive.

Nick’s wife could see the itching on Nick’s face and she told him to go.

Seconds after Nick arrived you wild see his flip flops on the ground and Nick suited in fire attire fighting the fire.

Houston County Fire and RMS is a brotherhood. Because of a host of people with dedication like Nick Houston County  is a better place.

Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management Director Chris Judah also serves as President of the Houston County Fire Chief Association. On Tuesday Nick Floyd was honored by presenting him with a nice plaque of recognition.

While we recognize Nick, there is one other to recognize. That is Nick’s wife. Without her support Nick’s volunteer work saving lives and property would not happen.
