One Vehicle Accident Highway 231 South - South of Sadie's Flea Market

HOUSTON COUNTY: Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched emergency units to a motor vehicle accident on Highway 231 South, just south of Sadie's Flea Market. The initial reports were serious - critical injuries.
Houston County Sheriff Deputies, Alabama State Troopers, Rehobeth Fire Chief Todd Phillips and members of Rehobeth Volunteer Fire, Hodgesville Fire Chief Jack Woods and Pilcher Ambulance responded to the scene
One vehicle was southbound on Highway 231 and left the right side of the road traveling up an embankment and back into the ditch. Pilcher Ambulance transported two patients to the hospital.
A dog that was riding in the vehicle ran from the scene. A small chihuahua dog. If anyone finds it call the Alabama State Troopers, 334-983-4587 so they can contact the driver or passenger of the vehicle.
Alabama State Troopers are responsible for the investigation of the accident.
