POLICE INVESTIGATING CRIMINAL MISCHIEF AT LOCAL PARK

On May 29, 2018, the Bonifay Police Department responded to Middlebrooks Park in reference to intentional damage caused to the gazebo and other areas of the park. A review of surveillance footage shows that at least one (1) female suspect and four (4) male suspects were present when the criminal mischief occurred.
The incident was recorded on camera at approximately 1:15 AM on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. The suspects were at the park for a short period of time and fled within seconds of the gazebo being damaged. Included with this press release are some still images from the video and a shortened section of the video surveillance. In addition to the damage listed above, some graffiti was added to an area of the park that included the names John, Seth and Hunter.
