Geneva Police Department



Geneva, Alabama: At around 2:00 A.M., May 18, 2012, Geneva Police responded to a report of a bear hit by a vehicle on Ward Street. When Geneva Police arrived on scene, they found that the bear was killed. The bear was a Black Bear weighing over 300 pounds. The bear was turned over to the Alabama Game and Fish Division to be taken to the Alabama Game and Fish Division’s Forensic Lab for an autopsy to be performed on the bear.
