Reports Of A Semi On Fire In Columbia

COLUMBIA: At 8:16 AM Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched Colubia Fire to 12065 County Road 22 to reports of s emi truck on fire next to residence. The semi was reported to be full of fuel.
Columbia Fire reponded to the scene.
On arrival the fire was out. The plastic inside the semi was melted. Columbia Fire Chief Bracki used the thermal imager attempting to locate any heat sources from within the semi. None were found.
The source of the fire is unknown.
Columbia Mayor Lancaster responded on the fire truck. The Mayor is an emergency responder with the volunteers.
Houston County Sheriff Deputy Austin Nowell also responded to the scene.
