Shaken Baby Fighting for it’s Life

On 8/10/2017, Dothan Police and Fire responded to a call involving an unresponsive 3 week old baby. When units arrived, CPR was in progress and Dothan Fire Medics continued the efforts, restoring a heartbeat.
The baby was taken to SAMC for further treatment and ultimately airlifted to Birmingham. At this time, the prognosis is unknown. Dothan PD Criminal Investigators responded to the scene and through several hours of effort, were able to charge David Lee Ivry with Aggravated Child Abuse after determining the baby had been shaken.
