HOUSTON COUNTY:     Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza and members of the Houston County Sheriff Department wishes to offer congratulations to Stephanie Fears.

Today marks the anniversary of Stephanie Fears employed with Houston County Sheriff Department.

Fears is assigned to the Corrections Division of the Sheriff Department. Sheriff Valenza said that while he does not get to tell every member of the department how valuable they are each day, team members such as Stephanie Fears makes things run smooth.

Sheriff Valenza and Jail Commander James Brazier are proud Stephanie is a team member serving beside the men and women in the Houston County Sheriff Department.

Who would have thought that in the past 20 years I’d have worked under three sheriff’s, at least 5 jail administrator’s, several lieutenants and sergeants?  I’ve worked with more fellow corrections deputies and patrol deputies than I’ll ever remember.  There have been a lot of days I’ve wanted to take my uniform off and walk out the door and never look back but I get up and do it all over again the next day because deep down I really do like my job and my coworkers.  Happy anniversary to me.  #20yearsdown #20moretogo
