Single Motor Vehicle Accident Near Ashford - Newspaper Carrier Finds Victim

HOUSTON COUNTY :  3:30 AM.   


About 3:30 AM Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched a motor vehicle accident on Antioch Church Road near Creek Church Road. The accident had occurred about two hours prior to the wreck victim being found.


The vehicle went off the road, flipped over back on all four tires then traveled about 200 yards off the road and struck a tree.


The victim finally made it out and was able to make it the side of the road. A newspaper carrier found him and called 911. Deputies first to arrive advised the ambulance to step it up.


Pansey Volunteer Fire, Ashford Rescue, Houston County Sheriff Deputies responded. Troopers were dispatched. Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management responded.


Ashford Rescue transported trauma Alert.
