UPDATE: STABBING SUSPECT IN CUSTODY, VICTIM’S GIRLFRIEND PRESENT

A man wanted in connection with the stabbing of a Mary Esther resident Tuesday evening has been located and is now in custody after being stopped for speeding in Franklin County Georgia. Also in the vehicle, unharmed, was the victim’s girlfriend, Stephanie Cahn.
The investigation is ongoing. The victim, 29-year old Avery Morris of Kathy Court, remains in critical condition at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
