Two Georgia prison guards were killed by two inmates Tuesday in Putnam County, police said, and a manhunt is under way for the suspects.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s office said about 30 other inmates were on the prison bus when two inmates overpowered the guards, and one of the inmates shot and killed them. It is not clear which of the escaped inmates did the killing.
The escaped prisoners have been identified as Donnie Russell Rowe, 43, and Ricky Dubose, 24, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections. They are believed to be in a Green Honda civic...GEORGIA tag RBJ6601

Updated: Authorities in Georgia are asking the public for assistance in locating a 2008 White Ford F250 pick-up with Georgia tag number BCX-5372, said to be stolen by the two escapees who killed two Georgia Correctional Officers. The pick-up truck was stolen from a construction site near Madison, GA.
The Green Honda Civic HAS been located.
