Ashley Greathouse
From Rickey Stokes: Since finding out about Ashley's death on Friday I have been heartbroken. Ashley was one of a kind person.
I told Barbara Friday that Ashley was poking Jesus saying “hey you remember me - you remember me?”. And Jesus is definitely saying absolutely Ashley I Know you! And Ashley enter these Gates of Heaven man.
Whenever Ashley entered a room he energized the room and Everyone there. He never met a stranger and wanted a hug. Ashley Greathouse was one special dude.
While Ashley was “officially” a member of Cloverdale Baptist Church, he was an Ex Officio member of Memphis Baptist Church.
My life is better for having the opportunity to know Ashley Greathouse.
FROM AMBER GREATHOUSE MARSHALL:
Tears flow I as write this, because I’ll miss one of my very best friends. Thank you for all the laughs, the country music concerts, the many times you helped me and Clay with our chores, the kickball games you’d play with us, running on the field after my softball games, our secret handshake, all the times you helped crank our go-cart, turning the radio up super loud in the car, making sure we clapped when you performed a song, leading music from the back pew in church, swinging with us in the swing, throwing me in the pool at the beach, arm wrestling, rocking me to sleep as a baby, and for most importantly smiling that big smile!!!! I’ve never met anyone that could light up a room like you. Thank you for always being there, and never missing an important event in my life. You were definitely an angel on Earth. I’ll miss your bald head, and the smell of sunscreen it always had. I love you, and thank you for all the precious memories made. ❤️
*I still think it’s hilarious you karate-chopped your birthday cake on your 50th birthday! 😊😊
