UPDATED @ 11:38 PM

Samson Murder Suspect James Chadwick Green remains on the run. Green is described as a white male, 6’02, 180 pounds, brown hair, balding, hazel eyes. Green typically wears a goatee and a ball cap.

Reports are about 4:30 PM Green was believed to have entered Mississippi from Alabama On I-10, westbound.

Suspect was last reported to be driving a red Toyota Tacoma with Alabama license plates CHAD1. Green is reported armed and dangerous.

Green was reported to have been a Samson Police Officer until December 2018. Sometime in December Green was terminated from Samson Police.

In 1997 James Chadwick Green was issued a traffic citation for speeding in Prattville Alabama. Green was traveling 55 MPH in a 30 MPH zone. At the time of the ticket Green listed an address of 1227 East Audubon Road in Montgomery Alabama. There was apparently warrants issued for Green on the 1997 traffic ticket that was recalled in 2003.

In 1993 Green was issued a traffic ticket in Dallas County for speeding, running 79 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. Arrest warrants were issued in these traffic tickets. Green apparently paid the fines and the warrants were recalled in 2000. Green gave the same Montgomery address.

For Green to have been a sworn Samson Police Officer, Alan Benefield, Executive Secretary Of APOST would have certified him as so. It is unknown if Benefield had ever revoked Green prior to the murder today.

Anyone with information on Green contact the Geneva County Sheriff Department.
